Filippo Caravati, partner of Caravati Pagani, in collaboration with the lawyer Ludovico Viganotti, partner of the law firm SZA, has completed an extraordinary international M&A transaction, in the utilities sector, that is the sale and distribution of gas.
Iniziative Macchi S.r.l., holding company and reference company of the Macchi Group, has in fact sold the majority shareholding of Plin-Projekt of Nova Gradiškae Moslavina Plin of Kutina to E.ON Hrvatska, part of the E.ON Group, one of the largest operators in the sector in Europe, which has taken over 100% of the two companies.

Iniziative Macchi Srl is the parent company and reference company of the Macchi Group, a group already active in the sale and distribution of gas since 1999 and in many other activities including:
- Power Ventures (design, construction, sale and maintenance of co-generation plants);
- Tesla investimenti (management and turnkey rental of co-generation plants);
- Brembio Energie (Biogas co-generation agricultural company).
The plan of the Macchi Group foresees the focus on the sector of co-generation plants and the sale of majority stakes, therefore, is a fundamental element of this plan. The transaction, followed by Caravati Pagani, was launched in July 2020 and successfully concluded at the end of 2020.
